Equipment I use is usually OK. Could do with another free squat rack as I am too tall for the caged one
Facility-wise, this is a good gym that has everything you need and more. In particular, the class timetable is excellent with plenty on after work hours. Also really enjoy the free parking, which is difficult to find at other gyms in Newcastle. However, for what you pay the gym lacks in cleanliness (it's not gross but there is dust lying around, particularly in the changing rooms) and there is no WiFi in the exercise area. Communication is also poor. Cancellation and changes in classes are often not communicated. For example, I've turned up to several classes where the instructor was a no-show. Overall, a good gym that I would recommend if you live nearby, but due to high membership fees, no WiFi, and poor communication I wouldn't go there if I lived closer to another gym.

Superb facilities and great staff. Lovely community gym.
Coming to play badminton at Sport@Gosforth is always such a pleasure. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the price to hire a court is absolutely amazing. The place has a very local feel and a lovely sense of community. Excellent facilities here too. We love to play here and I'm sure we'll keep coming back for some time to come!

Took my nephew to a kids club... Staff (looked like students) were lovely and friendly. Really good with the kids. Nephew loved it and wants to go back. Could have been signposted a little better. Tried to get in the back entrance which had huge letters above saying "Sports Central" until a bloke who worked on site told me I was at the wrong side of the building and there was no access that way... he let us through a side entrance and walked us through and told us where to go so it wasn't a major issue, just found it a little confusing having never been on that campus before. Short term parking would have been nice for drop off/pick up... I did walk past a car park but it said there was no parking available so I dunno what thay car park was for. Good day out for the kids, would recommend.
Son went to the summer sports academy, he loved it wanted to go back again so we managed to book an extra couple of days, the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly
