Looking for dictionary but unfortunately it is not complete. There is a cafe that we can use while reading a book. Convenience but not complete stock
Very friendly staff and a good selection of textbooks as well as fiction and non fiction. They also do second hand and buy your old books; very handy for those textbooks you don't use anymore.

It is rare that I write reviews. What a wonderful store. I needed a lot of help to purchase my first study Bible. The gentleman serving was extremely knowledgeable and patient, finding out my needs and suggesting Bibles that would suit. It’s not often one encounters assistants who clearly take pleasure in helping customers. I appreciated it greatly. Thank you.
A lovely peaceful retreat in the centre of town. Sadly closing down soon. The staff are lovely and caring. And before you ask yes the majority of the stock is Christian literature and not just bibles :)

I’ve been coming to the Newcastle version of Waterstones in some shape or fashion for over twenty years and each redesign still confuses me! Always find my way eventually! Hosts the best selection of books in town and is now the destination of local author signings.
I love Waterstones, and it is always nice to browse in - not withstanding the fact that Amazon, etc, are always cheaper - I think bookshops need to be supported. The staff in this store are always really helpful and chatty. However, whenever I queue up to pay it is a nightmare to find anyone on the tills - except downstairs where the queue is nearly always long (i.e., 5 minutes or greater). There have been plenty of times I have gone to pay and been unable to find a member of staff. I am not sure why this is? The cafe is also very expensive and the quality not great. With prices actually higher than the high street coffee shops you would expect the coffee and sandwiches to be of fantastic quality. This is not the case. The staff were not using temperature gauges to make the coffee and as a result the coffee was pretty awful. For the price this is not what you would expect.
